Trumbull County Commissioners celebrated Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month by holding their regular meeting at Fairhaven School in Niles on Thursday.

Commissioners took their meeting on the road and met in the gym at Fairhaven. After completing their regular business, they presented Fairhaven officials with a check for $605, which was raised by county employees last month.

Fairhaven officials said the money will be used to help with their garden projects.
